If you hold a passport from one of the 48 designated countries, you can enter Thailand for tourism without a visa. You must show proof of adequate finances and onward travel when entering the country.
Upon arrival, you will be granted a stay of 30 days, including the day of arrival. You can extend your stay for an additional 30 days by visiting a Thai Immigration Office within Thailand and paying a fee of 1,900 baht.
If you enter Thailand by air, there is no limit to the number of times you can enter. However, if you enter through a land border, you can only enter twice in a calendar year. Thai Immigration is vigilant about preventing abuse of the visa exemption policy, so be cautious about repeated entries.
