To obtain the affidavit, you will need to submit a Bachelorhood Affidavit from Competent Courts in India, along with a photocopy. This affidavit must be attested by the Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Additionally, you will need to provide your original passport along with photocopies of all pages of personal particulars and your current visa page.
The processing time for the affidavit is three working days. The fee for the affidavit is Baht 900, along with a service charge of Baht 70.
It is highly recommended that couples contact the Indian embassy in Bangkok directly to inquire about any updates or questions related to acquiring the affidavits. Making a good first impression with the embassy is crucial to ensure a smooth process.
